Eden Valley

My home is in this gorgeous little area that has wild areas in its high reaches and soft meadow pastures at its end.

The villages of the Eden Valley are a taste of quiet and calm while still being in very easy reach of cities such as Carlisle (through which it flows), Newcastle, Manchester etc.

The Eden Valley is remarkably little known, but is visited time and again by those who have discovered it. The River rises in Mallerstang, and flows through the old market towns of Kirkby Stephen and Appleby. As it moves northward towards the sea at the Solway Firth beyond Carlisle, it becomes broader and slower, but has dramatic moments where sandstone cliffs plunge down to the water.

The Eden Valley lies between the North Pennines (an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty) and the Lake District. To the south is the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and to the North lie Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall.

Canvas prints
Why not think about having your chosen image created as a triptych - three canvases that make up a single image. They are very striking and a great focal point when created this way. (This works only for images that are landscape shape not portrait shape).

Prints are wrapped over the frame and where this would mean part of an image being 'lost' an adjustment is made so that the image edges are cloned for a wrap allowance. However, if you prefer to have a plain wrapping over the frame edges please let me know when you place the order. This can be white or black or you can leave it to me to create a border edge that suits the image.
